F-50 industrial wool felt is a high grade dense felt suitable for ball and roller bearing oil retainer washers and small dust-excluding washers. F-50 is also typically used for mechanical purposes where an accurate, thin, smooth high grade felt is required. F-50 wool felt should be used in installations where the felt is not compressed, for feeding low viscosity or light oil, and where strength, durability and hardness are required. Typical applications include washers, bearing seals, gaskets, bushings, wicks/fluid transfer, window channels, anti-vibration dampening pads, and for parts where wear and good resistance to abrasion are required.
